@YOURgb visited Eastern Workshop this week - a digital imaging and exhibition display supplier. One of Eastern’s core values is their reliability, they promise to deliver on time, on budget, every time and this was immediately apparent the second I walked into the workshop. The Director of Eastern - Ewen Maclean (who very kindly gave me an hour out from his busy schedule) warmly greeted me and provided a brilliant and educational tour of the workshop and explained what Eastern are capable of – which turns out to be a great deal!

 

They are the number 1 independent display company in Scotland, working with a wide array of clients from RBS to Rockstar - Eastern have provided signage for some of the biggest companies in the world.

The sheer quality of Eastern was instantly obvious. The company is incredibly well run and everyone I met was very friendly and informative. But what I found to be their key feature is that they are all experts in their field. They have the machinery to effectively manage any project given to them: from ‘ultra wide prints’ (going all the way up to 3.2metres wide x any length, even the option to weld sections together for wider sizes), to CNC Router cutting to project management.

One of my favourite features of Eastern is the care and responsibility they take with each and every project. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had a resident artist operating in their workshop, ensuring that everything produced is of the highest quality, as well as teaching all the staff how to correctly use the machinery. The artist is also able to give clients advice and help with their designs. I felt this was a great touch to add as it ensures whatever is produced by Eastern is of the highest quality, working closely with their clients to meet their expectations.

It was a real privilege to be shown around the Eastern Workshop and discover the wide range of capabilities that they are able to deliver. ‘No task is too big or too small’ for Eastern and with the amount of time and effort they devote to their clients, it is clear to see why they are the number 1 independent display company in Scotland.
